Plot
The Dandupalya gang created terror in Karnataka for a long time by killing people, especially women, by slitting their throats and raping them before escaping with the booty. Director Srinivasaraju has brilliantly recreated the ghastly sequences. With a good script and gripping narration, the director succeeds in keeping the interest till the climax but with the glorification of violence. Full marks to the director for excellent making, but who are his audiences remain a question as the movie is full of gory sequences, muder and rape.
The story revolves around Lakshmi (Pooja Gandhi), leader of the gang, who spots houses where women are alone. She goes to the house asking for water. When the women go inside, the entire gang led by Krishna (Makarand Deshapande) and followed by Hanuma (Ravi Kale), Thimma (Jaidev), Muniya (Karisubbu) and others enter the house and kill women. Krishna takes thrill in slitting the throats as he is fond of the noise that comes out from the throat when blood oozes out. Then they loot the house and escape. They are all shabbily dressed, rough and tough. Inspector Chalapathi (Ravishankar) takes up the challenge of arresting them. How does he do it? Wait for the gripping sequences.
