Gun-toting men, hair-raising sequences, top-notch stunts — Ranavikrama packs quite a punch. Known for his lively scripts, director Pavan Odeyar doesn't disappoint one bit. A brilliant screenplay and crisp dialogues enrich the movie-going experience. While the first half is sprinkled with doses of romance, the second half transports the viewer to the pre-Independence era. It's a fast-paced commercial flick which no action junkie should miss.

Plot
Vikram (Puneeth Rajkumar) nurses the ambition of donning the khaki uniform. The young man is chosen by the home minister (Girish Karnad) for an important mission. He's sent to a remote place called Vikramatheertha (bordering Maharashtra) to probe a reporter's death. He stumbles upon a smuggling mafia and reports the matter to the minister. The study finds that mud with uranium content is being smuggled abroad from Vikramatheertah to make bombs. The minister gives a green signal to Vikram to take on the mastermind, Johnson (Vikram Singh), who's operating with the help of a Maharashtra minister, Kulkarni (Dinesh Mangalore). He single-handedly wipes off the mafia, a feat that earns him the post of ACP.
